We wanted to introduce you to one of our favorite materials: fique!

Fique is a natural fiber native to the Colombian Andes. Traditionally used for rope and agricultural textiles, and known for its incredible strength and organic texture. The fiber is extracted from the leaves of the plant by hand, then spun and woven by artisans in the Boyacá region.

We work with weavers who have been working with this fiber for generations, and together we've developed baskets, rugs, trays, coasters and placemats that bring a very unique warmth and texture into any space. 🌿
